Chriss Scherer, CPBE CBNT - editor
Scherer has been the editor of Radio magazine since 1997. Before joining Radio, he was the chief engineer at stations in Cleveland; Boyertown/Reading, PA; and Bridgeport, CT. He was a regular contributor to Radio and Broadcast Engineering magazines during that time.

He is a past president of the Society of Broadcast Engineers. He is certified as a Professional Broadcast Engineer and a Broadcast Networking Technologist by the Society of Broadcast Engineers. He is a past chairman of the SBE National Certification Committee, and a member of the SBE National Board of Directors.

In 2004, Scherer contributed the foreword to the book Career Opportunities in Radio from Checkmark Books.
